Mile of Dimes

Back in 1942, the Kinsmen Club of Calgary made it there goal to raise $0.10 per Calgarian and entered a Milk Wagon into the Calgary Stampede. Spectators were politely harassed to throw dimes. That first Mile of Dimes raised $1,600.00 with all proceeds going to Milk for Britian.
Today the tradition continues. Kinsmen and volunteers walk the parade route every year to raise money for Canadian Cystic Fibrosis.
