2014 Great Strides Walk for Cystic Fibrosis

Thanks to all paritipants of "Team Kin" in 2013 who jointly raise over $24,000 for CF Calgary! The sunshine came out for the entire day amidst two weeks of rainny weather. We'll be out in full force supporting CF in the spring! Come join us!

TaKIN your FOOD to the BANK

Thank You Calgary for your support with the TaKIN your Food to the Bank!

The Kinsmen Club of Calgary held its annual event in support of the Calgary Food Bank.

On Saturday February 23, 2013 the club, along with the Calgary Interfaith Food Bank, collected non-perishable food items and cash donations at Canada Safeway’s Westhills, Shawnessy and Crowfoot stores. This years event raised another large amount of cash and food to support the "Communities Greatest Need".

In 2012 Calgaryians supported the Food Bank in this 5 hour event by donating:

4570 Pounds / 2073 kg of food items Plus cash donations.

Dollar Equivalent of Over $18,000

Kinsmen Cerebral Palsy Christmas Party

A great time was had by all with over 300 families joining this year. The entertainment by Miss Molly was fantastic and Saint Nick made an appearance with some special goft for the kids. A great turkey dinner was served and everyone left feeling full with Christmas Cheer.

Great Strides Walk for CF 2013

Hello Family of Kin,

I know you’re excited about the 2012 Great Strides Walk. You are encouraged to join “Team Kin” again this year.

Please read the information and then click on the link below to get involved in this event to raise funds for Cystic Fibrosis. Our Team fundraising goal is set at $15,000 ($14,000 raised in 2011). The more the merrier and there is no limit to the amount of team members.

This is an annual event that coincides with Kin Canada Week. Kinsmen and Kinette volunteers help at select Canada Safeway stores to sell food hampers and collect donations for the Calgary Food Bank. Brinks Armored Car Service is in attendance as well.
